Abstract: This study investigates the impact of knowledge management on institutional performance through improving the balanced scorecard. This research depended on the deductive approach to collecting data. The researcher used the method of questionnaires to collect primary data that are used to achieve the purpose of the study, which is to study the effect of knowledge management and balanced scorecard criteria on the institutional performance of the Port Training Institute in Alexandria. The study found that there was a significant relationship between knowledge management and institutional performance.
