Abstract: The frequency of literacy interaction between siblings in 134 families with at least two children was investigated, of which at least one child attended school in grades 1 to 4. Parents in most families report that their children often read together without their parents. This exists in various population structures, including the gender of older children. However, children from families with three or more children are less likely to study with siblings. The influence of parents and teachers is discussed.
