Abstract: This paper reviews the research literature on the relationship between parental participation (PI) and academic achievement, with special attention to the level of middle school (middle school and high school). The results first show the relationship between individual PI variables and academic achievement, and then make a more complex analysis of multiple variables according to the general structure described in the literature. Several PI variables related to academic achievement show hope: (a) communication between children and parents about school activities and plans, (b) parents with high expectations aspirations for their children & apos; (c) Parents adopt authoritative parenting methods. At the end of the results section, we will discuss these findings based on the limitations of nonexprimental research and the different effects of children's versus parents' perspectives on academic achievement.
