Abstract: Since the Second World War, international exchange and training programs for educators have played an increasingly important role in cultivating teachers forward-looking awareness and understanding of cultural diversity and global interdependence. However, international projects always rely on additional educational factors, such as political, ideological, cultural or economic environment. Therefore, the sustainability of the plan and the appropriate institutionalization of the plan & apos; Project developers and alumni are very concerned about the results of the project, which are a witness to success. This paper determines the factors and background to promote the sustainable development of international projects and the institutionalization of their achievements. Two groups of international teacher program alumni from the United StatesRussia and the United States were interviewed about the impact of exchange programs on participants' status and pedagogies. The study demonstrated that respondents consider three factors, namely, motivational, administrative, and cooperative, most critical for the institutionalization of international program results.
