Abstract: This paper describes a measurement model for measuring students scores in the final examination (it280) of the basic course of information technology (it) in the Department of information technology (it) of the school of computer and Information Science (CCIS) of Islamic University (imsiu). The evaluation model is developed based on the student score items of the final examination results of students majoring in information technology in the second year. The score items are edited and tabulated through Rasch measurement model, and can be used to measure students performance in the final examination of the course. A study of 150 second graders (male)   =   52; Female   =   98) tests students knowledge and understanding of it280 course. The test is divided into three levels Boom’s Taxonomy. The results concluded that students can be categorized as poor (10 ), moderate (42 ), good (18 ), and successful (24 ) to achieve Level 3 of Bloom’s Taxonomy. This study shows that the students’ performance for the set of IT280 final exam questions was comparatively good. The result generated from this study can be used to guide us to determine the appropriate improvement of teaching method and the quality of question prepared.
