Abstract: A series of 5,10,15,20-tetraphenyl porphyrin zirconium (IV) acetylacetone phenol esters containing different phenols as axial ligands [Zr (TPP) (y) (x)] (TPP = 5,10.15,20-tetraphenyl-21h, 23h porphyrin; y = ACAC; X = different phenol esters) were synthesized and characterized by various spectrochemical studies. The antibacterial activity of the complex was also screened. Some adducts have antifungal activity against the fungal Sclerotinia strain rolfsii. Most of the complexes showed good antibacterial activity.
