Abstract: In this work, we used experimental and computational techniques to analyze the structure and spectrum of copper (II) n-acetyl-5-arylenetetramine acid. The crystal structure of Cu (II) complex was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. It showed that copper ions were located in the center of symmetry, and each ligand ion coordinated with two copper ions to form a two-dimensional sheet. In addition, the EPR spectral properties of Cu (II) tetracarboxylic acid complexes were also discussed. Finally, in order to obtain detailed and accurate insight into the product structure and performance, the calculation method is adopted. It is hoped that this study can enrich the research field of functional supramolecular systems and replace the formation of coordination driven self-assemblyy architectures.
