Abstract: Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are widely expressed molecular chaperones, but they are also induced in cells stimulated by stress. Heat shock proteins are involved in the induction and transmission of many diseases. This paper mainly studies the regulatory factors controlling the transcription of heat shock protein gene. We also highlight how different transcription factors interact and regulate heat shock proteins in different pathological states. Therefore, a better understanding of the complex signaling pathways that regulate HSP expression may lead to new therapeutic targets.
