Abstract: Strengthening the understanding of the deformation behavior of cement slurry filling (CPB) from the aspects of stress-strain relationship and elastic modulus is of great significance for economy and safety. The effects of initial backfill temperature on the stress-strain characteristics and elastic modulus of CPB are studied in this paper. The results show that the curing time and initial temperature of CPB have significant effects on the stress-strain relationship and elastic modulus behavior of CPB. In addition, the relationship between elastic modulus, unconfined compressive strength (UCS) and hydration degree was evaluated and discussed. The increase of UCS and hydration degree leads to the increase of elastic modulus, but has little effect on elastic modulusby the initial temperature.
