Abstract: The purpose is to predict the failure time of prestressed concrete beams under low cyclic loading. Because the test lasted for a long time under low load, the high load accelerated failure test was carried out. However, accelerated testing is expensive, so few tests are available. In order to obtain more accurate failure time prediction, the additional information of tension steel wire fracture time point is used. These rupture time points are modeled by a nonlinear birth process. This allows not only the point prediction of the critical number of fracture tension lines, but also the prediction interval representing the prediction uncertainty.
