Abstract: In recent years, spraying technology has become a promising alternative to traditional coating methods in the preparation of organic devices. If the spraying equipment wants to achieve high performance, it is very important to control the film morphology on the micro scale. Here, we have studied the electrospray deposition protocol of poly (3,4- ethylenedioxy thiophene): polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) thin film under room temperature using a single additive system. The key deposition parameters such as solution composition, applied voltage and relative humidity were systematically discussed. The optimized process for preparing homogeneous PEDOT:PSS thin films is suitable for all electrospray coating organic photovoltaic cells, and helpsto a power conversion efficiency comparable to that of the corresponding all-spin-coated device.
