Abstract: The fractional mathematical model of Maxwell equations in electromagnetic field and the fractional generalized thermoelastic theory related to two relaxation times are applied to the one-dimensional problem of thick plates. Laplace transform is used. The direct method is solved in Laplace transform domain, and the inversion is numerically calculated based on Fourier series expansion. Finally, the effects of two fractional parameters (thermal and magnetic parameters) on the variable field distribution are studied. The numerical results are graphically represented.
