Performance and behavior of micro slag powder on geopolymer concrete members and ANSYS analysis

Abstract: In this paper, the properties of geopolymer concrete with ground blast furnace slag and steel fiber are studied and compared with M40 cement concrete. Cast GPC specimens were placed in a heat curing chamber with a temperature of ∘ C of 60 ℃ for 24 hours and tested after 1, 7, 14 and 28 days of environmental curing to determine the strength and durability of hardened concrete. At 12 mol concentration, the compressive strength reached the best value. Replace fly ash with different proportions of GGB in GPC, such as 0 to 60 , with an interval of 5 ; When the replacement rate is 40 , the best strength value is obtained. From the test results, the compressive, splitting tensile and bending strengths of GPC samples are 20 , 43 and 53 higher than those of the control samples respectively. Based on the best strength mix proportionon, the structural elements were cast to investigate the stress-strain relations. The GPC beam and L-section showed 33 and 16 higher value. From the results of acid and sulphate resistance tests, it was found that the strength and weight ratio of GPC were higher than the control specimens. From the simulations, it was found that the experimental test results were approximately equal to the ANSYS.
