Experimental analysis of tensile mechanical properties of sprayed FRP

Abstract: In order to study the tensile mechanical properties of sprayed FRP, 13 groups of specimens were tested and analyzed by uniaxial tensile test, such as stress-strain curve, tensile strength, elastic modulus and elongation at break. The effects of fiber type, resin type, fiber volume ratio, fiber length and composite thickness on the tensile mechanical properties of sprayed FRP were studied. The results show that the fiber type and resin type have obvious effects on the tensile mechanical properties of sprayed FRP. Sprayed FRP will have a specific fiber volume ratio to obtain the best tensile mechanical properties. With the increase of fiber length, the tensile properties of the composites are improved, while with the increase of composite thickness, the tensile properties of the composites are improved property degradation. The study can provide reference to popularization and application of sprayed FRP material used in structure reinforcement.
