Abstract: Aluminum alloy hybrid reinforcement technology is a response to the growing demand for dynamic services in transportation, aerospace, automobile and shipbuilding industries, because it has attractive characteristics such as high ductility, high conductivity, light weight and high strength to weight ratio. During this evolution, attempts have been made to study the wear rate of Al6061 hybrid metal matrix composites reinforced with hard ceramic alumina (4, 8 and 12)   Al2O3 by weight) and molybdenum disulfide soft solid lubricant (2, 4 and 6   MoS2 by weight) prepared by stirring casting The unlubricated pin on disc wear test was carried out to check the wear behavior of Al6061 12
