Preparation of magnetic hybrid microspheres with good yolk shell structure

Abstract: Egg yolk shell magnetic hybrid microspheres were prepared by suspension polymerization and calcination. The morphology, structure and composition of magnetic microspheres were characterized by FTIR, XRD, TEM, SEM and TGA. The results of vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) clearly show that the magnetic particles are superparamagnetic and the saturation magnetization is 32.82   EMU g, which makes the micro module easy to be controlled by external magnetic field. The results show that magnetic hybrid microspheres have important application prospects in magnetic biological separation and drug release.
