Abstract: The hot pressing temperature is determined according to the plate performance, glue type and hot pressing production efficiency. In the process of hot pressing, heat energy enhances the plasticity of the fiber and creates conditions for the combination of different bonds. Heat energy will evaporate the water in the original plate. Temporary heating will accelerate the curing of thermosetting resin to reduce friction and increase fluidity. The hot pressing temperature usually refers to the temperature of the hot pressing plate, but the temperature inside the original plate plays a role in practical use. The properties of MDF at hot pressing temperature were investigated. The strength and water resistance of the product increase with the increase of the addition amounthot pressing temperature from 140°C to 160°C, the Modulus of Rupture (MOR) is increased by 9.8 , the Internal Bonding (IB) is increased by 33.6 , the water absorption (Wt) is decreased by 38.2 , and the thickness expansion rate () is decreased by 15.2 .
