Abstract: The effects of crack width, dry wet ratio and dry wet cycle exposure time on chloride intrusion in reinforced concrete beams are studied. Three point bending load and four dry wet ratios (seawater spray 1) resulted in 40, 70, 90 and 120 μ m crack width   D respectively. In one dry wet cycle, 1   3, 1   7, 1   11 and 1   15 were selected. The chloride content of reinforced concrete beams shall be tested every 32 days   D (or 16   d) dry wet cycle. The results show that when the crack width is greater than 90 microns and the dry wet ratio is 1, the chloride ion content increases significantly
