Abstract: A composite mineral binder  :   1 or 3  :   2 (by mass) was prepared by mixing ground blast furnace slag (GGBS) with steel slag (GGBS steel slag ratio is 1). The application of composite binder in mass concrete structure under severe sulfate attack is discussed by measuring hydration heat, adiabatic temperature rise, compressive strength, elastic modulus, chloride ion permeability and sulfate resistance. The results show that at 45 ° C, when the cement substitution rate increases to 50 , the hydration heat of the composite binder decreases significantly. The adiabatic temperature rise of concrete containing composite mineral admixture decreases significantly. Concrete containing composite mineral admixtures has low early elastic modulus and satisfactory Lte-age compressive strength. The composite mineral admixture can improve the resistance to chloride ion permeability and sulphate attack resistance of concrete, especially during temperature match curing.
