Abstract: After 300 hours of corrosion exposure in the acid salt spray cabinet test at 36 ° C, the corrosion resistance of aluminum 7075 t651 in the form of full cladding (aluminum clad), partial cladding and bare layer (uncoated) was compared. After corrosion exposure, severe to moderate spalling corrosion was observed on unprotected medium-sized test panels, slight general corrosion was observed on some cladding panels, and corrosion spots that did not penetrate the cladding were observed on fully clad panels. After the corrosion test, the tensile strength of partially coated, fully coated and unprotected panels decreased by 3.4 , 4.0 and 5.3 respectively.
