Abstract: The ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity of polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution in the concentration range of 0.3 to 1 were measured at 35 ° C. The ultrasonic velocity   MHz frequency was measured using a variable path ultrasonic interferometer at 1 ° C. Using the above ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity, the acoustic parameters such as adiabatic compressibility, acoustic impedance, intermolecular free length and relaxation time are calculated. The changes of these acoustic parameters can be explained by solute solvent interaction in polymer solution.
