Correlation analysis of multistage seismic damage behavior of reinforced concrete frame structures

Abstract: The multi-level nonlinear mechanism of reinforced concrete frame structure is analyzed by five structural levels: material layer, section layer, component layer, layer and structure layer. Based on the principle of deformation equivalence, the generalized stiffness damage model of each structural level is established. At each structural level, the stiffness damage value can be calculated by integrating the material stiffness damage. In addition, an influence factor is proposed to reflect the damage correlation between different structural grades. In order to verify the method, the method is used to study the damage evolution of 12 story frame structures at different structural levels. The numerical model is established by using the proposed analysis methods method produces results in good agreement with the test results of the 12-storey frame structure. It shows that the proposed method is useful to assess the structure multilevel damage performance and to design a new structure.
