Abstract: In order to study the mechanical properties of dowel bar under fatigue load, three reinforced concrete specimens with different reinforcement diameters (12   um, 20   um, 25   mm) bear fatigue load in order to study the attenuation characteristics and fatigue failure mode of pin action. Based on the three-dimensional relative motion between reinforcement and subgrade concrete, the load transfer mechanism of bonding is analyzed. The fatigue damage effect is considered in the model. The deterioration coefficient based on deformation path is defined to represent the accumulation of fatigue damage. By comparing the analysis results with the experimental data obtained in this study and the literature, the model is verified and satisfactory consistency is obtained.
