Control method of high impact energy and collaborative simulation in powder high speed compaction

Abstract: In order to improve the impact energy of powder high speed compaction (HVC) and improve the green density and mechanical properties of high-pressure solid, a mechanical energy storage method using combined disc spring is proposed. The high impact energy is obtained by transforming the existing equipment, and the hydraulic control system is developed to realize the automatic control of the energy generated by the Belleville spring. An interdisciplinary joint simulation platform is established by using ADAMS, AMESim and LabVIEW software package to interactively control the simulation process and feed back the simulation results in real time. Using this platform, the mechanical and hydraulic joint simulation of the virtual prototype of energy control of the testing machine is carried out. infuence of the impact energy on the green density is studied according to the HVC experimental results of the iron-based powders, and then, the green compact with the higher relative density is produced. The experimental results indicate that the energy enhancement method using the combination disc springs is reasonable and that the hydraulic control scheme is reliable.
