New state characteristics of recycled glass aggregate mortar: global unity of behavior

Abstract: Due to the problems related to the generation of various wastes and the extraction of non renewable materials used in the construction sector, the alternative use of waste glass may be a sustainable option with environmental and economic benefits. Where feasible, it can be used as a substitute for ordinary aggregate to manufacture recycled mortar. In this study, the fresh state characteristics of mortar containing 15 , 30 , 60 and 100 recycled glass aggregate were studied to replace ordinary aggregate, and the experimental results of consistency, density and air content were provided. Using the experimental results and through the numerical and statistical analysis of these results, a triple interaction diagram is drawn, so that we can unify te studied properties is constituted; making feasible with this, the prediction of the behavior of these properties with respect to variables as their ratio water cement, aggregate cement, and different percentages of replacement of aggregates.
