Abstract: Interactivism is a vast and rather ambitious philosophicaland theoretical system originally developed by MarkBickhard, which covers plethora of aspects related tomind and person. Within interactivism, an agent isregarded as an action system: an autonomous, self-organizing,self-maintaining entity, which can exerciseactions and sense their effects in the environment itinhabits. In this paper, we will argue that it is especiallysuited for treatment of the problem of representation inepigenetic agents. More precisely, we will elaborate onprocess-based ontology for representations, and willsketch a way of discussing about architectures forepigenetic agents in a general manner.
