Abstract: Storytelling for Lawyers is a frustrating read. It provides insightful analysis of selected popular and legal stories, but it lacks a coherent purpose. The jacket description promises the book will provide “a narrative tool kit” and “practical tips for practicing attorneys that will help them craft their own legal stories,” which is the reason most busy lawyers will buy it. But author Philip N. Meyer backs away from that description in his introduction and repeats this retreat in his "Final Observations. "
