Abstract: Ben Tre, located in the MekongDelta, is one of the most places affected by climate change, especially in sealevel rise and salinity intrusion. For the seven provinces bordering the EastSea, the need for monitoring water resources is critical. This paper representsan approach to build a web-based GIS to store, manage, analyze and visualizethe data of saline intrusion phenomenon. The novelty focuses on automating theworkflow for the generation and publication of time series saline intrusionmaps on server side. The analysis results are provided on the web browserinterface. This helps users access valuable information without having toinstall professional GIS software. Spatial distribution of saline intrusion andstatistical results support government agencies in planning and decisionmaking. This work is funded by Ben Tre Provincial People s Committee andVietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST).
