Abstract: The expressway is necessary for the development ofthe modern transportation industry, and the level of expressway constructionreflects the overall grade of national or regional economic development. Inorder to process the expressway road property data information, based on thecurrent mainstream Windows operating system, this study utilizes GeographicInformation System (GIS) development technology, road video processingtechnology, and spatial data mining method to design and develop an expresswayvideo and road infostructure GIS data production system. The system designs amulti-layer distributed application model in accordance with the ideas andmethods of GIS engineering and the characteristics of road production data. Inaddition, according to the characteristics and specification requirements ofbasic geographic data, the road production database of spatial data andattribute data integrated storage is constructed by combining database andspatial data engine. Through the development of the GIS data production systemfor expressway video and road infostructure, various functions such asgeneration of road property data, dynamic management of road infostructure, andvisualization of spatial information have been realized. The system focuses onimproving the production efficiency and automation level of expresswayproduction data and meets theconstruction requirements for modernization, informatization, and intelligenceof expressways.
