Document pages: 3 pages

Abstract: Usually cabbage and cauliflower takes two years for the seed production. The presently available strategies are seed to seed and stump to seed , both demanding two years. A new strategy involves sowing the seeds two weeks ahead of winter and growing the seedlings in trenches, exposing the seedlings to high level vernalization for a minimum of one month. This will lead to direct bolting from the seedlings and production of seeds.
