Abstract: Technological advancement in communication in the 21st century has led to the ubiquitous use of the mobile devices. Therefore, in this context, an investigation has been proposed to estimate total protein in the seminal fluid of different duration mobile phone users and non- user human subjects to assess its hazardous effect on reproduction. For this, 90 human subjects( 17 non-users and 73 users) of age group 19-35 years were employed. I observed a direct relationship between total protein in the seminal fluid and duration of mobile phone usage. The total protein decreased as increased the duration of mobile phone usage. On the basis of the above findings, I may speculate that mobile phone may negatively affect on total protein in the semen and cause male infertility. Further, long-term studies are needed to evaluate the risk of mobile phone and to find remedial measures.
