Abstract: A great deal of interest has been generated in the use of cycloconverter at low speed drives especially in high power application. In this paper we developed and discuss SIMULINK model of three phase to three phase cycloconverter controlled induction motor with LC filter circuit. LC filter circuit designed to reduce harmonics from cycloconverter controlled output voltage. The simulation result shows effects of filter circuit and discusses the magnitude of different harmonics order, DC component and total harmonics distortion on output voltage of cycloconverter before using filter circuit and after using filter circuit with different value of LC filter circuit.
