Abstract: The Flux graph, with ordinates in kg m2*d, which is the solids flux of secondary treated wastewater, and abscissas in kg m3, which indicate the concentration of the mixed liquor produced in the aeration tank, called Reactor, and can also be the concentration of recycle flow taken from the bottom of the Clarifier, has several properties which are explained in this paper. The characteristics of lines drawn on the graph are seen in a simple manner showing that it´s easy to navigate in it. This graph is used by Metcalf & Eddy, and other authors, in the design of the secondary treated solids settler, called Clarifier.
