Application 3D Reconstruction with HIS Method and Voxel Cube

Abstract: In this research we try to create software for reconstruct the 3D object from 2D image using HIS and Voxel cube method. We used camera and laser to get the depth of image. The Laser Range Finder calculation is done by using the color deviation that specifies the brightest color value, if the standard deviation is greater than the threshold color then distance calculations can be performed to the depth of the image. We used HIS method for extract object from the background. Experiments have been conducted on various cube input image. The best result of the experiment shows the algorithms used can detect less than 2 m. HIS method give the better result for image with monochromatic background.
