Abstract: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are considering as one of the suitable and efficient techniques for establishing ubiquitous computing which actively leading to an all-pervasive paradigm of computational infrastructure that can be used for lots of interesting and performing applications. A wireless sensor network designing with a various number of micro sensors with low-power enabled transceivers that can be an perfect tool for collecting data in a various fields of environments like civil, industry and military applications areas. The information gathered by each micro sensor is communicated via the sensor network to a central server center called sink or base station that uses all collected data to take decisions depends on different types of the issues or track an event. In this paper, we analyze the performance of a scalable WSN infrastructure with respect to medical applications and find out how such systems respond in scenarios which are simulated to mimic real-time behavior. All simulations have been done in MATLAB.
