An Efficient Image Watermarking Technique Using Aging Leader Based Particle Swarm Optimization

Abstract: In this paper, a new watermarking approach centered on the discrete wavelet transform in combination with aging leader-based particle swarm optimization based SVD is proposed. The watermark scrambling has been done by using the Arnold transform in order to safeguard watermark further. Watermark becomes incomprehensive for the hackers or crackers after applying Arnold transform. The use of aging leader based particle swarm optimization based SVD has improved the speed and security of the watermarking approach further. We have compared the performance of existing and proposed techniques based on PSO and evaluate the parameters Absolute mean square error, Peak signal to noise ratio, Root mean square error, Normalized cross correlation and Median angular error.
