Abstract: Telemedicine is the most emerging technology to provide the healthcare facilities from remote areas. This paper examines the ways of telemedicine in providing better health care facilities to the people of unreachable and inaccessible areas. Its indicative process has the potential to provide major telemedicine effectiveness as the face to face consultations needs entailing great money and time. Due to the shortage of time, telemedicine has increasingly proved to be the best solution. However, providing the admissible service with suitable price, to construct a vigorous system and to develop to trust medicine with technology is the goal of this research. This research also addresses that why Pakistan needs Telemedicine and explains the previous and current projects in Pakistan on telemedicine. Apart from its advantages, telemedicine has major limitations which include inaccessibility to e-health to the masses. Also, it limits the treatment of emergency patients except (First Aid) surgical patients & clinical patients.
