Abstract: Most of the existing studies discussed about stability conditions of fractional-order systems focus on commensurate ones. In this paper, the stability analysis for a class of non-commensurate fractional-order systems is presented, and the commensurate-order restriction is fully released. Based on Nyquist’s Theorem, stability conditions are explored detailedly under different conditions, namely different combinations of pseudo-damping factor values and order parameters. The obtained stability results can be applied in non-commensurate fractional-order controlled systems.
