Abstract: Public transit disruption is becoming more common across different transitservices, which can have a destructive influence on the resiliency andreliability of the transportation system. Utilizing a recently collected dataof transit users in the Chicago Metropolitan Area, the current study aims toanalyze how transit users respond to unplanned service disruption and disclosethe factors that affect their behavior.
